Courses and Workshops |

| I have taught workshops and courses for college students since 1996. Most of my college courses center around web design, including Photoshop, web graphics, graphic design, web project management, etc. I also teach web design workshops for individuals, often clients for whom I design a web site and who would like to do their own site maintenance. My focus is always on "what students learn" as opposed to "what I teach." I evaluate students' learning - and the effectiveness of my own teaching - by looking for evidence of students' skill development. While it is impossible to perfectly meet the educational preferences of every student in a class, I find I can strike a good balance between not leaving novices behind while simultaneously keeping more experienced students occupied.
